OCT THEME: CONTENTMENT
THEME: Santosha - contentment
PHYSICAL PRACTICE: Relaxation
(relaxing and restorative poses)
Santosha is the practice of relaxing into life. Realizing that there will always be ups and downs in life. Like the Chinese say, “10,000 joys, 10,000 sorrrows”. Accepting that chaos can interrupt even the greatest effort to “balance” our lives, we don’t have a choice in that. However, we do have a choice in how we respond or react to life’s disruptions. Really trusting that all is unfolding perfectly; and, that everything that happens offers a life experience for deepening our awareness and understanding. Flowing through life with gratitude, appreciation and trust, so that we can allow ourselves to be more relaxed, more present, and, therefore, more content.~Stephanie
Deeper Flow explores this theme– Friday, Oct 16th with Jody – 6:30-8:30 pm

SEPT THEME: PURITY/CLARITY
Saucha - cleanliness, purity - mostly manifests in the realm of my intentions and constantly checking in with the purity of my motivations for ANYTHING I'm up to - especially in the sweet space of my own practice and then through teaching. I often reference "telling the truth" when we are practicing, which holds a kind of personal accountability to non-contaminated mental atmosphere. It's almost like a subtle desire to keep my "mind-stuff" as clean as possible and if it's not clean, to investigate the reasons why. Purity holds a quality of innocence - where any ulterior motive would have no chance of thriving or surviving. It brings me home again and again to playfulness, to curiosity, to remember to enjoy to journey! ~Meredith, Flow Yoga Instructor

WORKSHOPS
Masks of Ego
October 30-November 1 2009
Weekend Intensive to Explore
Character Fixation With Adi
In denial of our True Nature we have assumed an identity that limits who we are. This intensive will be an opportunity to understand the patterns and trends that have steered you away from who you truly, truly are. We will be talking about the Ennegram system and using Buddhist psychology teachings to unravel the identification as a separate self, and connect with the Oneness of one's True Nature. Each of our sessions will include a soulful yoga class, several meditations, and group meetings for deeper investigations. Every participant will have an opportunity for a one-on-one session with Adi as well.
