Contemplating Yoga
"There are as many concepts on what Yoga is as there are people who practice it. And the scope of different ideas on what constitutes Yoga is also very vast. Yoga has its roots deep in human experience. All cultures, in one form or another have Yoga...though not all cultures practice Down-dog, or Warrior 2. Certainly, we call the practice of asana and pranayama Yoga...but Yoga is also so much more than just posture and breath. Yoga actually includes our whole human experience, and every moment of our lives.
Yoga is the universal aspect of our Heart longing to be conscious, to be happy, and to experience freedom. So, there are many things that we can call Yoga, but in its deepest regard, Yoga is what we experience when we bring consciousness to our lives-- whether that is in a posture in a Yoga class, or it is in washing the dishes. Everything in our lives can be Yoga when we are one with the activity or circumstance in front of us. And, we can also miss out on the Yoga of life if we limit Yoga only to practicing poses, breathing, and chanting OM. Practicing Yoga means giving up our small ideas, and embodying the Love that we are. If that is taken care of, than everything we do is Yoga." ~Adi

The Great Matter of Living & Dying
“There’s a great saying in Zen that says, ‘the pursuit of enlightenment is solving the great riddle of life and death.’ We spend so much time avoiding death, trying to attain a happy life. It is not really possible to attain a happy life until we have looked very deeply at our own death. In dying before you die, you discover everlasting Life to be your very own nature. It is possible to find out what dies, who dies, and take a leap right here, right now.
This intensive will be for just that—solving the great riddle of life and death… $65 Adi will be leading Dharma Talks, Meditation, and Exercises For cultivating the investigation into the Great Matter.
This workshop IS happening starting tomorrow. If you feel inspired to join us Sat-Sun 1-6 pm, we'll be Here.

What are Members Saying About Fly?
"THANK YOU - I LOVED the work out – the fly option for me, seems like it would help tone and work out different muscle groups, as Steph suggested it’s going to be an excellent complement to my regular yoga class. All in all I think the first class was SUPER – I look forward to the next! My muscles are enjoyably sore." ~ S. Harte
"I really enjoyed the class and am looking forward to future ones. This was my introduction to the studio in general and am very excited about everything you offer there. I appreciated your help in making sure that we were doing moves correctly and giving us feedback on how we can make it more comfortable or difficult as we need to (I will probably continue to need reminding on that). I took the class because I couldn't picture what in the world it was and thought I would try it out since it was going to be new to everyone. I am so glad I did because I think I am going to love it. Thank you!" ~ K. Marcroft
